Springdales School started as a short nursery & kindergarten at the home of Mrs. Rajni Kumar, the symposiarch of Springdales Education Society (SES) & her husband the late Mr. Yudishter Kumar, Barrister at Law & Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court (SC). Today the Springdales school has 3 full-fledged campuses at the main locations in Delhi, New Delhi, India & without this, a 4th one fast taking figure at Jaipur – is emblematic of a progressive educational movement inspired by Beaconsfield in Britain, the brain-child of Bertrand Russell, Badley’s Bedales and A. S. Neill’s Summerhill as well as the educational philosophy of our great Indian educationists like Shri Rabindra Nath Tagore and Mahatma Gandhi.

Biggest spacious classrooms and playgrounds, we have developed and provides facilities for each department, with a Computer Resource Centre, and Mathematics, Science laboratories, an auditorium & open-air stage, well-stocked libraries, and a Teachers’ Learning Centre. At the end of class 10 and 12, the students appear for an All India examination conducted by the (CBSE) Central Board of Secondary Education.
Criteria for Admission
1. Residence Criteria (39 points Maximum obtain) :
(i) Those Applicants who live in areas that are specified in the registration form will get 39 points.
(ii) Those applicants not living in areas mentioned in the form will get 29 points.
2. Sibling Criteria (35 points Maximum obtain):
– Existing parents also have a bonding with the school which they chose for their 1st child because of its special features. Even then, it will not be possible to adapt all.
(i) No points are given in the Sibling Criteria if the high age Sibling is in Springdales School, Pusa Road/ Springdales School, Kirti Nagar is a cousin of the children seeking admission.
(ii) Irrespective of the branch of the first child, NO Inter Unit transfer will be allowed at any stage.
3. Alumni Criteria (26 points Maximum):
– The school running last 3-generational and the school has a large 60-year-old Alumni Association with deeply attached 5000 life members to their Alma Mater & who have great aspirations for their children’s education at Springdales.
(i) Former Students who have been in school for 14 years i.e. from Nursery – Std. XII will get 26 points. Kindly attach the Copy of Character Certificate.
(ii) Former Students who have been in school for 12 years i.e. from Nursery to Std. X will get 16 points. Kindly attach the Copy of Marksheet of Std. X and School Leaving Certificate.
(iii) Students who joined in Std. XI-XII i.e. for 2 years & have become members of the Old Springdalians Association, will get Eleven points. Kindly attach Copy of Character Certificate (CC) & OSA Membership Card.
