NIMCET Test 2020 

 

The National Institutes of Technology (NIT) is an Institutes of National Importance and it is a Centrally Funded Technical Institutes. the NIT MCA, it is a common test is a National Level. The NIT MCA exam conducting by the Master of Computer Applications program.

 

Eligibility Criteria

 

(i) B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons), BCA, BIT, B.Voc. (Computer Applications/Computer Science) of mini. With Statistics or Mathematics as 1 of the subjects three years full-time program from a recognized University.

(ii) B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University

Documents (Soft Copies) for registration

# Soft copy of a recent passport size photograph (of size between 50 Kilobite and 1 Megabite)

# Soft copy of the signature (in Royal Blue or Black color only) (of size between 50 Kilobite and 1 Megabite)

# All the mark sheets or grade cards & the certificates in pdf format (duly self-attested & scanned) (max. size 1 Megabite each)

# A valid proof of Identity in pdf format (such as Aadhaar Card or PAN Card or Voter ID Card or Driving License) (max. size 1 MB each)

 

Application Fee:

 

If the candidates come on the General/OBC so to pay Rs 2500 and candidates who come on the SC/ST/PWD pay Rs 1,250 through the online mode using Net-banking or Credit or Debit Card.

Qualifying Criteria

 

1. Your obtained marks in subjects like Mathematics, Analytical Ability, and Logical Reasoning, English, Computer Awareness will be multiplied to the factor of 3, 1.5, 2 & 1 respectively then after come the weighted of marks it will be 1000.

2. Ranking will be based on total weighted marks obtained by a student.

3. In the case of a tie, the resolved base on the weighted marks in Mathematics, then after on weighted marks in Analytical Ability and then after Logical reasoning and then on weighted marks in Computer Awareness.

4. If given the above criteria the case of a tie is not resolved so then it will be resolved by age and the favor of the goes to the older candidates.

Admission Process

 

1. The 10 participating NITs will be based on the NIMCET-2020 rank which is submitted the choice of institute filled by the candidate’s online admission to the MCA program. All matter about the counseling process is given below and if any shall be notified on www.nimcet.in the website/portal from time to time. all candidates are notified they are regularly checking the website and know about the updates.

 

2. Qualified in the NIMCET-2020 candidates will be allowed to fill the choices of institutes and in which they want to take admission into the MCA program.

 

3. Candidates are using the institute’s login and password to fill the online from the place of convenience and through the login and password using only June 12, 2020, and June 16, 2020. after the date they are locked their NIMCET – 2020 – Brochure NIMCET – 2020 – Brochure 19 choices before the 5.00 pm IST on June 16, 2020. however, the choices are locked by 5.00 pm IST on June 16, 2020, and after the choices are locked candidates can not reach the choices. the allotment of the seat will be made on the basis of his and her institute choices locked by him/her.

 

4. Before the allotment and second-round candidate are using the options can be exercised.

 

Option-1: Students who wish to finalize the seat allotted to them & wish to join the institute allotted to them (Their higher preference choices, if any, will be ignored in subsequent rounds).

Option-2: Candidates who wish to be considered in the next round for all of their higher preference choices (i.e. across institutes).
