Army Public School Bengdubi
The school started with the Tiger Cub School and behalf of the nursery classes now it is changed in the Army School Bengdubi. in the present time, Army School (APS) Bengdubi was initiated in the year 1981 having classes from nursery to six standards. The APS School of Bengdubi is one of the 130 Army Public School (APS) run under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), Headquarter in New Delhi registered under the Society Registration Act.
Army Public School Bengdubi – Admissions to 2020 – 2021 Academic Year
Army Nursery School and Army School Bengdubi functioned from the same campus of Army Public School Bengdubi till the year 1997 under separate administration. After this in view of the expansion of the Army School, Nursery School was allotted a separate campus. Consequent to shifting into the new campus on 31 Mar 2008, the school was redesignated Army Public School Bengdubi wef 01 April 2008 vide AWES letter No B/45712/MAP/AWES dated 12 Mar 2007. The Army Public School was affiliated with CBSE in July 1983 as Senior Secondary level with Arts and Science stream. In the year 1999, the commerce stream was introduced.
Headquarter 111 Sub Area is the controlling formation of Army Public School (APS), Bengdubi. Maj Gen PRS Chaudhary, GOC 111 Sub Area is the Patron & Brig AK Tripathi, Dy GOC, HQ 111 Sub Area is the Chairman of APS, Bengdubi.
In accordance with the rules & regulations, guidelines laid down by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), Army School, Bengdubi west Bengal, follow’s the syllabus as prescribed by the CBSE Books published by the NCERT in use.
Admission Procedure
Admission is done in the school throughout the session as per the AWES Rules in order to facilitate the admission to children of Army personnel coming on transfer from outstation, subject to the stipulation laid down by the CBSE in Classes 11-12 and vacancies existing. Admission is extended towards different categories as per the rules laid down by the AWES, giving preference to candidates whose parents are posted in the local Military Station.
Age Limit
Though the requirement of CBSE that the All India Secondary Examination shall be open to pupils who have attained the age of Fifteen years on 30th September of the year in which they take the examination has been abolished with effect from the examination of the year 1983, the age of admission to various classes in Army Public Schools (APS), however, shall be regulated as give in below :
For Admission, to 1st class, – The student should complete the under-mentioned 5 Years of age on 31 March of the year.
For Admission, to 2nd class, – The student should complete the under-mentioned 6 Years of age on 31 March of the year.
For Admission, to 3rd class, – The student should complete the under-mentioned 7 Years of age on 31 March of the year.
For Admission, to 4th class, – The student should complete the under-mentioned 8 Years of age on 31 March of the year.
For Admission, to 5th class, – The candidate should complete the under-mentioned 9 Years of age on 31st March of the year.
For Admission, to 6th class, – The student should complete the under-mentioned 10 Years of age on 31 March of the year.
For Admission, to 7th class, – The student should complete the under-mentioned 11 Years of age on 31 March of the year.
For Admission, to 8th class, – The student should complete the under-mentioned 12 Years of age on 31 March of the year.
For Admission, to 9th class, – The candidate should complete the under-mentioned 13 Years of age on 31 March of the year.
